Go to the shopToughees school shoes are made from genuine leather uppers, and polishing is optional and not essential in maintaining them.
There are essentially three steps in the care process—cleaning, conditioning, and polishing/protecting.
• Shoe Polish
• Shoe brush (horsehair is recommended)
• Clean cloth or Rag for buff and shine
* Pro tip 1: Avoid silicone sprays or liquid shoe polish for your leather shoes. It can damage leather.
* Pro Tip 2: If your laces require cleaning, remove them before cleaning the shoes and hand wash them in a small container using laundry detergent and warm water. Remember—laces should be completely dry before lacing up the shoes again!
If you own a pair of white sneakers, chances are they are your go-tos, which also means you know how quickly they get dirty.
Hand washing and air drying these shoes is the best cleaning method. (make sure to air-dry in the shade)
• Soft-bristle brush and Cleaning cloth or Rag
• Dish Washing Liquid and Baking Soda
• Paper Towel
* Pro tip 1: Don't clean white sneakers with bleach. It's too harsh for use on white sneakers and can create a yellow tint instead of restoring them to their original state.
* Pro Tip 2: When you’re in a rush, a simple wet wipe will remove the dirt and have your sneakers looking fresh and clean.
